Population are Arabs Sunni most of them belonging to Azza tribe a dominant tribe in Al Mansouryah, also there are minority of Turkmen Sunni. Most of people work in Agricultural activities due to good soil and plenty water, dates and citrus fruit are a main crops in Al Mansouryah. ==Security situation== With Islamic state offensive in June 2014 Al Mansouryah fell to IS's hands.
